Specifications

Material properties at a glance.

Solid surface is a thermoformable acrylic-mineral composite — non-porous, repairable, and seamlessly bondable. Standard sheets ship in 6mm, 12mm, and 19mm thicknesses; wide-format and translucent variants are available on request. Listings: NSF/ANSI 51 (food zone), GreenGuard Gold (low VOC), Class A fire rating per ASTM E84.

Full PDF datasheets ship to specifiers on request — the link above routes a project enquiry to the technical team.

Fabrication

Certified fabricators only.

Grand Stone is installed by a network of certified fabricators trained on seaming technique, sink bonding, edge buildup, and thermoforming. We do not sell sheet material into the open market — every project routes through a fabricator partner so installation quality is warranted end to end.

Fabricator partners receive the full installation manual, edge-profile templates, color-matched seam adhesives, and a project hotline. Specifiers working in a region without a partner can request introductions through the project enquiry form.

Care & repair

Designed to be refinished, not replaced.

Sustainability

Durable surfaces, lower lifecycle impact.

Grand Stone surfaces are repairable through their service life, deferring the replacement cycle that drives most countertop waste. GreenGuard Gold certification limits indoor-air VOC emissions; non-porous composition eliminates the need for sealants or solvents in routine maintenance.

A full lifecycle assessment and EPD are available on request for LEED, WELL, and Living Building Challenge documentation.
